Buckeye Nuts and Bolts! Buckeye Nuts and Bolts is a chance for YOU to visit campus and learn about what it means to be a Buckeye! We are here to help those who have received their decision from The Ohio State University but are unsure if we are the right fit, as well as those who have committed and want another chance to connect before starting this fall! 

This event is for Buckeyes who: 

  • Have questions about Ohio State Marion
  • Want to see our campus
  • Want to learn more about Tuition and Financial Aid
  • Want to pay their Acceptance Fee
  • Want to learn about the experiences of some of our current students 

But also for Buckeyes who: 

  • Have questions about their Next Steps
  • Need answers on how to register for Orientation
  • Need to complete their Math placement or English placement test

About this event

The Old Northwest, which consists of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin, began to open for settlement by non-Indigenous peoples at the end of the 1700s. Using the 1850 census as the basic source of information, especially because it was the first to record the birthplaces of inhabitants, Dr. Rose will explore where they came from, how they got here, and how they were distributed across the region.
