How to apply to be a member of the 2024 Ohio State Marion Homecoming Court

Each year, student leaders are chosen to represent The Ohio State University as members of the Homecoming Court. These individuals are selected by a judging panel that may consist of staff, faculty and alumni. The court members are chosen based on their ability to exemplify the qualities of leadership, spirit, integrity and achievement through their contributions and involvement at The Ohio State University at Marion.

Requirements for regional campus courts:
Undergraduates who will have earned at least 30 credit hours by the end of the spring semester and maintained a 2.5 cumulative GPA are eligible to apply for the 2024 Homecoming Court.

Selection:
Six students will be selected as members of the 2024 Homecoming Court from Ohio State Marion. From these individuals, two Buckeye Royals will be selected. The selection is based upon a student vote and the judging panel interviewing scores. In the event of a tie, the highest GPA determines the results.

Recognition:
Homecoming court members will be recognized at a joint regional campus crowning ceremony with families and friends in Columbus on October 25, 2024. All court members will participate in a variety of homecoming activities both in Marion and Columbus and be recognized during the homecoming football game, which is on October 26 versus Nebraska. You must be able to attend the homecoming game.
