Nika Duff, Isabella Huth, Owen Hart, and Camryn Mackey devoted their months to hands‑on research in chemistry and biology, work that touches on antibiotic resistance, cancer, and diabetes.
Ohio State Marion biochemistry major Izzy Huth has been awarded a competitive Pelotonia Undergraduate Fellowship, providing support for a year-long research project examining how chemotherapy treatments may contribute to the development of antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections in cancer patients.
Majd Al‑Marrawi's work as an undergraduate researcher has earned him two of the nation’s most prestigious academic honors, the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and most recently a Fulbright U.S. Student Fellowship, achievements he said were made possible through the deep, community‑centered mentorship culture at The Ohio State University at Marion.
