Larry R. Yoder Prairie Learning Laboratory
The Larry R. Yoder Prairie Learning Laboratory is a tall grass prairie restoration located on the Marion campus. The restoration project was in 1977 and the site has grown and changed quite a bit since then. Today, 11 acres of restored tall grass prairie are a showpiece on the campus and an attraction for the surrounding communities.

Reading Together in Marion
During the summer of 2023, a team of six students from Ohio State Marion researched Marion’s history of literacy advocacy and support, explored present community needs, and then publicized and promoted Marion’s distinct culture of literacy to the public. “Reading Together in Marion,” seeks to highlight the history of the Marion community’s ongoing commitment to literacy.

Warren G. Harding Symposium
The Warren G. Harding Symposium is an academic, social, and cultural exploration of the life and times of America's 29th president. The Symposium presents in-depth analysis and research by authors, historians, researchers and experts on the Harding Era and related areas of interest. The Harding Symposium is co-sponsored by Warren G. Harding Presidential Sites, Ohio History Connection and The Ohio State University at Marion.
