Report a Crime:

Crimes in progress, or other emergency situations should be reported by calling 9-1-1.

To report a crime that occurred on-campus, contact Marion Campus Public Safety.

Crimes occurring off-campus should be reported in the jurisdiction they occurred. In either case, try not to disturb the crime scene until the responding officer has completed their investigation. If you must move or disturb something, make a note and advise officers.


File a Behavior Concern Report:

Complete the online Behavior Concern Report form to file an electronic report regarding your concern for a student, request the Consultation and Assessment Team to further assess a situation, or initiate contact with the CAT.

In the interest of your safety, the Ohio State University at Marion and Marion Technical College hope you will become familiar with all campus public safety information.

If this site does not provide answers to questions you may have, additional safety and security information, including the Annual Safety and Security Report, can be obtained from the Marion Campus Public Safety Office. The office is located in room 138 - Morrill Hall.

The Marion Campus Public Safety Office maintains a close working relationship with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio State Highway Patrol, The Ohio State University Department of Public Safety, and other local emergency responders. Emergency numbers and other helpful information to assist the students, faculty and staff on the Marion Campus can be found on the Emergency Contact Information page.
