Donated by Pete Dully, a current member of English faculty member at The Ohio State University at Marion, the Student Opportunity Development award desires to broaden students' engagement with the world outside Central Ohio by providing the chance to pursue unusual and adventuresome activities outside the classroom that would not otherwise be accessible to them. What those activities (within North America) could be are completely up to you, the applicant. Funds amounts vary, up to a $2000 max. Applications are reviewed on a semester basis for use in the coming semester (not limited to just when class is in session). The current deadline to apply is October 15, 2024.
