Veteran & Military Student Resources
Academic Advising says Thank You! to our Veteran and Military students and their families. You will find many resources at The Ohio State University to support you during your college education. Please communicate with your academic advisor if you do not find information or links to resources you are searching for on this webpage.
The Veterans Support Lounge on the Marion campus is located in the Alber Student Center. This space is for all veterans on campus and provides a place to relax while studying and to meet others on campus who share the unique experience of being a veteran.
The Marion Campus Student Veteran Advocate is a current student who has served in the military. Each semester the Student Veteran Advocate is available to talk with veteran and military students at the Marion campus.
Veteran Community Advocates are responsible for delivering programming and resources for the broader veteran population on campus. Advocates will act as a liaison and connection point to Student-Veterans on campus and build relationships with campus departments. Veteran Community Advocates are scholarship recipients and will serve in a one year term with the possibility of renewal.
