Engineering
A team of three entrepreneurial students from Ohio State Marion’s Engineering 1182 – Fundamentals of Engineering II course, taught by Assistant Professor of Practice in Integrated System Engineering, Chandika Annasiwatta took first place in the Fundamentals of Engineering Design Showcase held on December 6 in the Physics Research Building on Columbus campus.

Ohio State ranked 11th among all universities in research expenditures in FY 2022 in the NSF’s annual Higher Education Research and Development (HERD) survey rankings, up one spot from the previous year. The university remained at 7th among publics.

Amanda Respess, assistant professor of history at The Ohio State University at Marion, gave students the opportunity to get hands-on with history. The class, which focused on gender and sexuality in Middle Period China, allowed students to learn about how women’s health issues were treated using herbs.
