Isaac Green and Lydia Drake named 2018 Marion Campus Homecoming King & Queen
For the past decade, regional campus students have been part of the longstanding tradition of Ohio State homecoming. On Friday, October 5, 2018, student homecoming court representatives from ATI, Lima, Mansfield, Marion, and Newark, descended on the Longaberger Alumni House on the Columbus campus to learn who would be name King and Queen for their respective campuses.
Ohio State Marion junior psychology major, Lydia Drake of Delaware, Ohio was named 2018-19 Queen of the Marion campus court and sophomore mechanical engineering major Isaac Green of Marysville, Ohio was name 2018-19 King of the Marion Campus Court. Serving on the court with Drake and Green are: Hailey Batross, senior education major from Marion; Megan Oder, senior criminology major from Mount Gilead; Matt McPherson, junior biology major from Morral; and Nuh Issack, junior biology major from Columbus.
The entire homecoming court will take part in parade festivities and a pep rally on the Columbus campus Friday. Saturday they will be formally announced at the skull session and VIP's at the 4 p.m. Ohio State vs. Indiana game.
Homecoming court members are selective chosen to represent each campus on the merits of their committee interview, gpa, and campus leadership and involvement.
