Orientation at The Ohio State University at Marion will introduce you to life as a Buckeye. In addition to meeting other new students, your Academic Advisor, a Financial Aid Counselor and other members of our staff and faculty, you'll learn about the courses required for your area of study and schedule classes for your first semester. You will discover the wide range of opportunities and resources on campus designed to support your success as a college student.
Orientation is designed for all incoming Freshmen and transfer students with less than 30 semester credit hours. If you are a transfer student with 30 or more credit hours, we encourage you to attend Orientation but it's not required. If you have 30 or more hours and prefer an individual Orientation, please call 740-725-6334.
Watch your mail for an Orientation booklet that should arrive a few weeks after you have been admitted and paid your acceptance fee. This booklet will contain Orientation details and instructions. Only students who have paid the $100 acceptance fee will receive the booklet and have access to Orientation registration.
