The Ohio State University at Marion

Orientation

Orientation at The Ohio State University at Marion is not a single event but rather a series of steps that will introduce you to life as a Buckeye. Throughout the steps of Orientation, you will complete placement testing, meet your Academic Advisor, Dean Rose, Financial Aid, and other members of our staff and faculty. You will learn about the courses required for your area of study and schedule classes for your first semester. You will discover the wide range of opportunities and resources on campus designed to support your success as a college student.

Orientation, steps 1 through 3, will be delivered virtually. The final step is a campus visit where you will see your classroom spaces and meet staff members and student leaders who will help you prepare for your first semester.

Watch your Ohio State email for communication about Orientation once you have been admitted and paid your acceptance fee. This email will contain Orientation details and instructions. Only students who have paid the $100 acceptance fee will receive the communication and have access to Orientation.
