About this event

Join the Marion Women’s Club for its fifth season of an evening of historical drama on Friday, April 10 at 7 pm, featuring a reading of short plays written by Ohio State Marion students. These original works explore American women’s experiences across the decades and are inspired by student coursework and research in the Club’s archives.

Students are mentored by Julia Hansen’s New York City–based JNS Theater for Social Change, in partnership with Professor Margaret Sumner and The Ohio State University at Marion.

Come support these talented student playwrights and an incredible cast of community members bringing the stories to life. The evening promises to entertain, inspire, and provoke thought as the students imagine a better future while grappling with the complexities of the past.

The event will be held in the Abigail Harding Lewis Auditorium at the Women’s Club Home, located at 1126 E. Center Street in Marion.

Free and open to the public
