About this event

"Using Attitude Strength to Understand Willingness to Engage in Collective Action" by Liv Frazier

Abstract: With increased instances of collective action in the United States, understanding the factors which lead to such behavior is important. Our research analyzes data gathered in the summer of 2020 seeking to identify who is likely to support the Black Lives Matter protests. We examine how self-described anti-racist attitudes and attitude certainty interact to predict willingness to donate money, attend protests, give to bail funds, and learn more about anti-racism.
