About this event

“What are you going to do with THAT major?” This might be a question you’ve heard a few times if you’re majoring in English (or another humanities field), and we’re here to tell you that the English major prepares you for almost any career path! But it can sometimes be challenging to translate the skills you’ve developed through your coursework into the language of a job application. That’s what this workshop is for! In this session, we’ll talk about how the work you’ve done and will do in English classes helps strengthen in-demand career competencies. Additionally, we’ll discuss carer exploration and job search strategies tailored for students in English majors and minors.
