The SMART Lab is the result of a partnership between the Student Wellness Office of Ohio State Student Life and the Counselor Education Program within the College of Education and Human Ecology. The mission of the SMART Lab is to teach stress management and resiliency skills to help students feel and function better. Services are free for enrolled Ohio State students. Scheduling
Friday sessions in the lab are for faculty and staff only.

Self-Guided Biofeedback
During self-guided biofeedback sessions, you will work through web-based modules to learn about mindfulness based stress reduction and will utilize our HeartMath biomedical feedback technology. Utilizing your heart rhythm as well as several breathing techniques, you will engage in practical exercises to increase your wellness, decrease your stress levels, and increase your overall resilience.
Location
The SMART Lab is in 200 E Maynard Hall, inside the Counseling & Wellness Center. When you arrive, please let the staff know that you have a scheduled appointment in the SMART Lab. We look forward to seeing you!
