Dr. Michael V. Drake, 15th president of The Ohio State University, will make his first official visit to The Ohio State University at Marion and the Marion community on Tuesday, March 24th.
Dr. Drake will be on campus to meet with students, faculty, staff, and other campus administration and constituencies throughout the day Tuesday. He will deliver a public address at the Tuesday noon meeting of the Marion Rotary Club at the May Pavilion, Marion Palace Theatre. From 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., he will tour the historic Harding Hotel with community and campus leaders. He will visit a student apartment in the Harding Centre and meet with the public during a reception in the hotel’s lobby. Media are invited to attend the Marion Rotary Club meeting address, as well as the reception at the Harding Centre.
