Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, Golrokh Mirzaei, who teaches courses at The Ohio State University at Marion, was awarded the 2025 College of Engineering Dean’s Award for Distinguished Outreach Achievements during an official awards ceremony at the Blackwell Hotel Ballroom on the Columbus campus April 17, 2025.
Each year, this is an award to a faculty member who has demonstrated significant and longstanding achievement of positive community impact through outreach activities or programs within the College of Engineering.
"We are extremely pleased to see the college of engineering has recognized your contributions to the university communities and beyond. And you must be very proud of your “Distinguished Outreach Achievement” that “demonstrated significant and longstanding achievement of positive community impact through outreach activities or program within the college of engineering” and to Ohio State Marion and the community,” said Ohio State Dean of the College of Engineering, Ayanna Howard, Ph.D. in an awards letter from the college.
“I’m honored to receive this prestigious award from the College of Engineering and deeply appreciate the support I’ve received from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Ohio State Marion in making this achievement possible,” said Mirzaei.
