University committed to unity in face of adversity

All members of The Ohio State University community are invited to attend a “Buckeye Strong” event at 7 p.m. today (Nov. 29) at St. John Arena, 410 Woody Hayes Drive, to continue healing from the Monday morning attack on the Columbus campus.

“Days such as these test our spirit as Buckeyes – but together we remain unified in the face of adversity,” Ohio State President Michael V. Drake said in a message to students, faculty and staff on Monday.

In addition to musical performances, event speakers will include Drake, Undergraduate Student Government President Gerard Basalla, Senior Vice President for Student Life Javaune Adams-Gaston and Director of Public Safety Monica Moll.

Media are welcome to cover the free, public event. A mult box will be provided. Parking is available in lots on the north and south sides of St. John Arena.
