The Ohio State University at Marion lecture series Buckeye Talks on Tap welcomes Ohio State Marion Professor of Psychology, Nikole Patson, who will present a free public lecture titled, “The Many Voices of English: How Language and Reading Build Community,” Tuesday, September 9, 5:30 p.m. at Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen.
Students, faculty, and staff joined the community on Thursday evening September 4th, marching through the center of Marion to kick off The Marion Popcorn Festival, the largest popcorn festival in the world. According to the festival’s website, the festival, which began in 1981 annually attracts crowds of more than 250,000 people.
The Ohio State University at Marion will host a unique food, wine, and beer pairing event called The Art of the Pair on Monday, October 6, 2025, 6-8:30 p.m. to support the operation of local repeater tower that strengthens the WOSU-FM radio signal to the people of Marion, Delaware, Wyandot, and Crawford Counties.
