Members of the public are invited to attend the Annual Marion Campus Job and Internship Fair on Wednesday, April 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Alber Student Center on the Marion Campus. Dozens of companies looking to hire employees and interns will be attending. The event is a joint effort of Marion Technical College, The Ohio State University at Marion and Ohio Means Jobs - Marion County.
The Ohio State University at Marion in partnership with the community Microfarm Task Force is offering a free informational workshop for those who might be interested in learning more about microfarm opportunities coming to the Marion area.
After the pencils were put down and the calculators were put away, local high school students were awarded $18,000 in scholarships from Marion Technical College and The Ohio State University at Marion. A total of 113 students from six area schools (Elgin, Harding, North Union, Pleasant, Ridgedale, and River Valley) came to the Marion campus to test their math prowess in the annual OSU MTC Marion Math Challenge.
