With approximately 61% of Americans taking at least one prescription medication and 27% taking 4 or more prescriptions in 2025, The Ohio State University at Marion lecture series Buckeye Talks on Tap will take an in depth look at the history and development of drugs. Ohio State Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry Ryan Yoder will present a free community lecture entitled “The Evolution of Drug Design: From Remedies to Rationality,” Tuesday, July 8, 5:30 p.m. at Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen.
The Ohio State University at Marion lecture series Buckeye Talks on Tap welcomes Director of The Ohio State University Ohio Sea Grant and Stone Laboratory, Christopher Winslow, Ph.D. Tuesday, June 10, 5:30 p.m. to Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen for a lecture entitled “The State of Lake Erie: Nutrients and Harmful Algal Blooms.”
A group of 17 Taft Elementary fourth and fifth graders got the opportunity to experience the Larry R. Yoder Prairie Learning Laboratory and the art exhibit Sustainability Stories first-hand during a visit to Ohio State Marion on May 12th.
