The Ohio State University at Marion will host Jill Frey, CEO of Cummins Facility Services Frey in a conversation with Dean & Director, Dr. Jennifer Schlueter titled, “How AI is Changing Work and Learning, Monday, October 20, 5:30 p.m. in Maynard Hall, Guthery Community Room.

Starting autumn semester 2026, low- to middle-income students at The Ohio State University who start on a regional campus or at Ohio State ATI in Wooster will qualify for the new program, which will cover all tuition and mandatory fees.

First Gen Friday is a monthly first-person narrative written by first generation college students who are faculty, staff, and students at Ohio State Marion.

Students, faculty, and staff joined the community on Thursday evening September 4th, marching through the center of Marion to kick off The Marion Popcorn Festival, the largest popcorn festival in the world. According to the festival’s website, the festival, which began in 1981 annually attracts crowds of more than 250,000 people.

Donna Bobbitt-Zeher was the first in her family to complete college. Now as an associate professor and Assistant Dean at the Marion campus of Ohio State, every year Donna helps ensure that hundreds of students are successful in navigating college for the first time.

The Ohio State University at Marion will host a unique food, wine, and beer pairing event called The Art of the Pair on Monday, October 6, 2025, 6-8:30 p.m. to support the operation of local repeater tower that strengthens the WOSU-FM radio signal to the people of Marion, Delaware, Wyandot, and Crawford Counties.
