Modes of teaching and learning
What you need to know for your autumn 2020 class schedule
As part of our safe and healthy return to campus autumn semester 2020, The Ohio State University at Marion and all Ohio State campuses will embark on a number of traditional an non-traditional means to deliver coursework to students. Terms such as hybrid, online asynchronous, online synchronous, and in-person will be utilized as a means of delivery. I some cases, courses will utilize multiple methods to teach. For example, many online courses may have some components that are synchronous and other components that are asynchronous (e.g. asynchronous lecture with synchronous lab, synchronous lecture with asynchronous recitation). If you have specific questions regarding a course, please contact the faculty member teaching that course, or your academic advisor.
