Students from Ohio State’s four regional campuses in Lima, Mansfield, Marion and Newark converged on Ohio State Marion’s Guthery Community Room, Saturday, February 3rd for a student leadership conference held in the Guthery room.

The conference was put on by the Office of Leadership from Ohio State’s Columbus campus. Students from each campus networked, shared ideas, and pushed each other to be better organizers within their own student organizations.

Ohio State Marion students Hannah Fuller, Mackenzie Reinhart, and Christian Shaw were a few of the campus student organization leaders in attendance.

"I recommend this conference to students because it made me realize my own strengths and weakness and also the strengths and weaknesses within my own organization." Shaw said.

"I made a lot of good connections with a lot of students," Reinhart said. "I learned a lot about my leadership skills and the ways in which I can improve them."

The students received and filled out leadership evaluation to their individual strengths and any weaknesses that they might need to focus on in the future.

"I am looking forward to bringing back the skills that I have learned from this event," Fuller said. "I plan on better professionalizing my own leadership and organizations here on campus."
