Bisignano and Rossetti chosen as royals for 2021

Ohio State Marion students Maya Bisignano and Tiffany Rossetti were named royals for the Marion campus during the annual regional campus coronation ceremony, Friday afternoon, October 8 at the Longaberger Alumni House on Columbus campus. The ceremony held annually celebrates homecoming courts from all of Ohio State's regional campuses, Lima, Marion, Mansfield, Newark, and CFAES Wooster.

Court members are chosen based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity, and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State. The court selection process begins with a paper application. Based on application scores and GPA, individual interviews were offered and conducted by Ohio State faculty, staff and alumni. The scores from the application and interview were combined to determine the 2021 Homecoming Court.

Homecoming Royal, Maya Bisignano is a senior majoring in business management from Marion, Ohio. Homecoming Royal, Tiffany Rossetti is a senior majoring in biology from Hilliard Ohio. Additional court members in alphabetical order include: junior engineering technology major Alex Cabungcal of Lewis Center, Ohio; senior strategic communication and psychology major Kerrington Nelson of Marion, Ohio; senior biology major Lily Noftz of Clyde, Ohio; and sophomore special education major Kacie Patterson of Marysville, Ohio.

In addition to taking part in events on the Marion campus during Oct. 4-9 Homecoming week, the group will be involved in Ohio State's Homecoming Parade Friday evening, fireworks display, the Saturday Homecoming Skull Session, and will be introduced on the field during pre-game festivities of Saturday's Ohio State vs. Maryland football game in Ohio Stadium.
