Dean Rose letter to the Ohio State Marion community
Dear Ohio State Marion Community,
We are dedicated to our mission of providing the highest quality education to our students. Added to that mission at the moment is the overriding concern for the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and the community. Therefore, The Ohio State University at Marion is still in full operation but has shifted to an almost completely virtual approach, continuing spring semester courses online rather than face to face and conducting other business online or through the telephone. For the well-being of all, we have closed our buildings and are working, and teaching remotely.
These unprecedented decisions were made to keep our students and our Buckeye community safe and healthy. We will continue to enable students to push towards their goal of obtaining an Ohio State degree. Students should look to their faculty members for guidance and utilize the temporary remote learning resource at https://keeplearning.osu.edu/. Faculty and staff can utilize the temporary resources at https://keepteaching.osu.edu/ and https://it.osu.edu/keepworking.
A collection of all coronavirus related communication can be found on the banner at osumarion.osu.edu.
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we all navigate this new territory together.
Gregory S. Rose, Dean and Director
