Join us for four engaging 5-minute flash talks by Ohio State Marion students, each pre­senting cutting-edge research in chemistry and biology. Nika Duff explores antibiotic combinations to fight resistant Enterobacter cloacae infections. Isabella Huth investi­gates gene deletions that may drive antibiotic resistance. Owen Hart uses yeast models to study DNA repair and cancer evolution. Camryn Mackey examines GLP-1 receptor drugs like Ozempic and their links to diabetes and cancer. These talks showcase the impact of undergraduate research and the promise of tomorrow's scientists.
