Ohio State Marion students are putting their professional writing and marketing skills to use to help raise funds for the Marion campus chapter of the Buckeye Food Alliance, which helps battle food insecurity issues on campus.
Students in Senior English Lecturer, Amy Tibbals’ autumn English 2367.01S service-learning course ended spring semester by awarding three local non-profit agencies a total of $5,000 to support the work each organization does in the community as part of an over-decade-long project at Ohio State Marion known as Pay It Forward.
Marketing professional Daniel Bradshaw not only carved out a career in the financial services industry in his hometown of Marion, Ohio, but he finds himself utilizing the skills in storytelling he honed at Ohio State Marion on a daily basis.
