The Associate of Arts (AA) degree is a nice option for someone who wants to earn a diploma to mark two years, or 60 credits, of successful college coursework. The AA degree can be a stepping stone to a bachelor’s degree, or can be a stand-alone degree.

*Algebra proficiency is required for the degree and may be demonstrated by placing at Level R on the OSU Math Placement Exam, or by completing Math 1075.
Remedial courses such as Math 1050, 1075, and English 1109 satisfy basic proficiency requirements but do not count as hours toward the minimum degree requirement. Repeated courses will count only once. Other requirements may apply.
