The purpose of Marion Campus Recreation is to promote healthy lifestyles and leadership opportunities through diverse, quality recreational services, programming, activities and facilities that enhance lifelong learning and development for the Ohio State University at Marion and Marion Technical College.

Question Who can participate in Intramural Sports?

Any current student, faculty, or staff member from Marion Technical College or the Ohio State University at Marion with a valid campus ID card.

Question How do I access the Fitness Center?

Bring your valid BuckID to the Marion Campus Recreation office, located in room 104 of the Student Center to receive an access pass for the Fitness Center.

Question Can I bring a guest to the Student Center?

Any current student, faculty, or staff member from Marion Technical College or the Ohio State University at Marion with a valid campus ID card can sponsor up to two guest per visit.

Question How can I check out equipment to use in the Student Center?

Equipment is available for current students, faculty and staff to check out equipment in the Marion Campus Recreation office.

Question Do you offer open gym time?

Yes. Open gym times are scheduled by semester based on availability and needs of the campus. Check under special events (or intramurals) to see when this semester’s open gyms are scheduled.

Question What amenities does the Alber Student Center offer?

The Alber Student Center features a student lounge area w/big screen TV's; gymnasium; men's & women's locker rooms; indoor rock climbing wall; weight/fitness room; a café; student ID WiFi; pool tables, ping pong table, air hockey; video game systems & games (Wii); cornhole; outdoor volleyball; fitness & recreational equipment; and much more.
