Holiday joy made possible by generous giving

Holiday decorations afford Ohio State Marion students, faculty and staff a welcoming, joyous atmosphere. Decorations bring a sense of community with the twinkling lights, festive garland, and holiday trees.

Some of the campus decorations are Ohio State themed to share the Buckeye spirit, while others ring true to holiday tradition. In Maynard Hall's Guthery Community Room, special displays are arranged for various holidays such as Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanza. Inclusive decorations foster a sense of belonging and uplift the campus and provide holiday cheer.

Funds for decorations in Maynard Hall are made possible by donors who have generously given their treasures to support such activities on campus. The use of donor funds enables the purchase of decorations without the use of general funds. Campus students, faculty and staff are grateful to generous donors who provided funds to enhance the campus at the holidays.

Our dedicated Buckeye Backer volunteers descend on Maynard Hall each year to decorate for the holidays, and this is only made possible by generous giving of donors who pay it forward.
