WHAT IS THE STUDENT OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND?
The Student Opportunity Development Fund is now available thanks to the generosity of Ohio State’s English Lecturer, Pete Dully. The fund finances opportunities for students to pursue unusual or adventuresome activities outside the classroom that would not otherwise be accessible to them. Funds are provided with the intent of broadening students’ engagement with the world outside Central Ohio.
APPLY FOR THE STUDENT OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND
Applications are reviewed on a semester basis for use in the coming semester (not limited to just when class is in session). The deadline to submit an application to receive funds for use December through April is October 15. The deadline to submit an application to receive funds for use May through August is February 1.
Applicants will be notified within two months of the deadline to provide plenty of time to book and continue planning.
Please be prepared to submit all answers and your essay at the same time as you cannot save this application and return to it at another time.
