A Warren G. Harding Symposium Award of a $1000 scholarship will be presented to an Ohio State Marion student who submits an original essay of 1000 words or less based upon the theme of the annual Warren G. Harding Symposium. The winner will be selected by a committee composed of Ohio State Marion staff and Harding Symposium event leaders, based on following criteria: theme topic adherence, creativity, insights, perspectives, and composition.

Ohio State Marion’s Five Nights on Campus performing arts series welcomes Andrea Doria survivor Julia Hansen in this Five Nights on Campus Extra, Andrea Doria: A Famous Sea Disaster and Survivor's Story, Wed., March 26, 6 p.m., in Maynard Hall’s Guthery Community Room. This event is free and open to the campus community and the public.

Upon graduating from Ohio State last fall with her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Ohio State Marion alumna and Mount Gilead, Ohio native Kaitlynn Pfeifer parlayed her degree into an opportunity to study invitro fertilization as a career through her recent admission to ARTLAB in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

First Gen Friday is a monthly first-person narrative written by other first generation college students who are now fellow faculty, staff, and students at Ohio State Marion. The goal of the stories is to provide advice to other first generation college students and create a sense of belonging among the campus community.
