Dr. Nikole Patson, a professor in The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences Department of Psychology and faculty member at The Ohio State University at Marion, has been selected as a recipient of The Ohio State University’s 2025 Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching. Established during the 1959-1960 academic year, it is one of the university's most prestigious teaching awards.

First Gen Friday is a monthly first-person narrative written by other first generation college students who are now fellow faculty, staff, and students at Ohio State Marion. The goal of the stories is to provide advice to other first generation college students and create a sense of belonging among the campus community.

The Wayne & Geraldine Kuhn Fine Arts Gallery at Ohio State Marion will hold a public reception, Fri., April 4, 12:30 p.m. in Morrill Hall for the gallery exhibit, Sustainability Stories – Minding & Mending Our Ways: Moving Towards an Intentional Future. This event is free and open to the campus community and the public. The exhibit will be on display through September 2025.

A Warren G. Harding Symposium Award of a $1000 scholarship will be presented to an Ohio State Marion student who submits an original essay of 1000 words or less based upon the theme of the annual Warren G. Harding Symposium. The winner will be selected by a committee composed of Ohio State Marion staff and Harding Symposium event leaders, based on following criteria: theme topic adherence, creativity, insights, perspectives, and composition.

This premier hiring event brings together dozens of companies actively looking for employees and interns. The event is free and open to the public.
