The Annual Academic Recognition Program publicly recognizes Ohio State Marion students, faculty, and others, who through scholastic achievement, personify the concept of academic excellence and bring honor to The Ohio State University. Special thanks go to the staff, faculty, students, and members of the community who served on various selection committees and to those who assisted in the planning of this program. The Ohio State University Marion Citizens’ Advisory Council initiated this program in 1972. The continued support of this program by The Ohio State University Marion Board of Trustees is appreciated.

Ohio State Marion Assistant Professor of Education, Aina Appova will be presented the Kenneth Cummins Award for exemplary mathematics teaching at a college level, during the 66th Annual Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics (OCTM) Conference in Sandusky, Ohio, October 27 & 28.
