Ohio State's *nationally ranked College of Engineering currently offers 15 engineering major programs which span the breadth of careers within the profession. Admission into each engineering major program is competitive and based on a student's academic performance in foundational courses. Of the 15 engineering majors in the College of Engineering, Ohio State Marion offers the first full year of coursework towards an Ohio State degree in engineering and select second-year course offerings in the areas of computer science engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering, in addition to growing the general education curriculum for engineering. Ohio State Marion also offers all coursework for the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology.

College of Engineering requirements:

Although students can apply for direct enrollment in the College of Engineering based on high school GPA, SAT/ACT scores, and a strong record of math/science courses, admission to engineering majors is competitive and based on performance in the foundational courses required of each major. Regional campus students can “campus change” to the College of Engineering on Columbus campus after completing 30 credit hours  of coursework, which includes core math and science courses, with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students should consult the engineering academic advisor when planning their schedules and applying for campus change.

Engineering Seminar Series: 
The Engineering Seminar Series hosts professionals across diverse engineering fields from both academia and industry. The series will highlight engineering projects and insight from top experts in the field. Also, speakers will discuss about different career paths in engineering and help students to set their career goals.

Engineering Club at Ohio State Marion: 
The Engineering Club at Ohio State Marion provides the opportunity for engineering students to get involved in engineering activities, including engineering meetings, local industry field trips, presentations by industry professionals, workshops, social activities, and more.
