Who We Are Now: A Celebration of Marion

Who We Are Now is a community storytelling and performance project that celebrates the people, places, and shared experiences that define Marion. Created through collaboration among local residents, artists, historians, and community partners, the program blends live storytelling, local history, music, and civic engagement to explore Marion's past while imagining its future. The initiative invites community members to share memories, preserve local stories, and strengthen a sense of belonging across generations.

Led by Dr. Jennifer Schlueter, dean and director of Ohio State Marion, the project is part of Marion's America 250 celebration and serves as a catalyst for broader community storytelling efforts that connect residents through shared history, creativity, and civic pride.
