What is Marion Campus Recreation?

The purpose of Marion Campus Recreation is to promote healthy lifestyles and leadership opportunities through diverse, quality recreational services, programming, activities and facilities that enhance lifelong learning and development for the Ohio State University at Marion and Marion Technical College.

Who can participate in Intramural Sports?

Any current student, faculty, or staff member from Marion Technical College or the Ohio State University at Marion with a valid campus ID card.

How do I access the Fitness Center?

Use your valid BuckID or MTC ID to swipe into the Fitness Center inside of the Alber Student Center.

Can I bring a guest to the Student Center?

Any current student, faculty, or staff member from Marion Technical College or the Ohio State University at Marion with a valid campus ID card can sponsor up to two guest per visit.

How can I check out equipment to use in the Student Center?

Equipment is available for current students, faculty and staff to check out equipment in the Marion Campus Recreation office.

Do you offer open gym time?

Yes. Open gym times are scheduled by semester based on availability and needs of the campus. Check under special events (or intramurals) to see when this semester’s open gyms are scheduled.

What amenities does the Alber Student Center offer?

Big screen TV's; gymnasium (including basketball, badminton, pickleball); men's & women's locker rooms; indoor rock climbing wall (used for courses); weight/fitness room; student ID WiFi; pool tables, ping pong table; board games; corn hole; outdoor volleyball; fitness & recreational equipment; career closet; and much more.
