University Chorus at The Ohio State University at Marion is a student vocal ensemble that brings together singers from a wide range of academic backgrounds to foster musical growth, collaboration, and community connection through choral performance. Based on the Marion campus and performing primarily in Morrill Hall Auditorium, the chorus is known for its inclusive, student-centered approach and its strong emphasis on public engagement through family-friendly concerts that are open to the community. Under the direction of Sabina Anderson, the ensemble focuses on creating joyful and accessible musical experiences. University Chorus will highlight their portion of the performance with selections from the Broadway musical Les Misérables.
Through its emphasis on outreach, accessibility, and student creativity, the University Chorus plays an important role in Ohio State Marion’s cultural life, strengthening ties between the campus and the Marion community while providing students with meaningful performance opportunities.
Ticket prices for The Marionaires & University Chorus are $10 general admission, $9 for seniors 60 and up, and $4 for all students (K-12) and college students. Ohio State Marion & Marion Technical College faculty/staff are eligible to purchase $8 discount tickets. Season ticket packages and patron memberships offer discounted rates and exclusive benefits.
