The Ohio State University at Marion recently hired Carlyn Bower to serve as case manager in the campus Counseling and Wellness Center.
Bower most recently completed an internship in a similar role with Ohio State Marion’s Counseling and Wellness Center as part of her master’s program.
Bower will be serving both students attending The Ohio State University at Marion and Marion Technical College with the goal of connecting students from both schools to mental health and wellness services and resources on and off campus.
“I am excited to be able to connect with more students and to be able to come up with creative new ideas for the campus and the Counseling and Wellness department,” said Bower.
Bower graduated from Miami of Ohio in December of 2022 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and recently graduated from The Ohio State University spring of 2025 with a Master’s degree in Social Work.
Born and raised in Marion, Ohio, Bower graduated from Pleasant High School. In her spare time she enjoys journaling, painting, and other artistic activities, as well as spending time with family and friends.
