The mission of the Buckeye Ambassador Program is to provide opportunities for students with leadership potential to further develop their professional and personal skills. Buckeye Ambassadors are responsible for representing Ohio State Marion's student body during new student orientation programs, leadership seminars, recruitment efforts, community events, and other activities. Buckeye Ambassadors help to facilitate the transition to college for new students, motivate current students to get involved, and reach out to the greater community to show that The Ohio State University is here!

I am currently a Senior majoring in Social Work and minoring in Psychology. I have always had a passion for people and a passion to help others so I feel as though I have found my calling. I would consider myself to be a very social and outgoing so being here at this campus as a Buckeye and being so active on campus has helped me in more ways than I ever thought possible. When I began my college career I was on my way to another university when I got some bad news that later turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. My life as a Buckeye has been such a blessing and an adventure. I have grown so much being at Ohio State and every year it is like I grow a little more and get even more opportunities. I have my job in admissions, I am the president of the Social Work Club, I have been on the homecoming court, I get to participate and be a part of events on campus and events in the community, I am a familiar face on campus to so many students, staff, and even faculty, I am also in a field placement working in an elementary school. I have gotten great opportunities and have had the chance to meet people that would not even be possible had I gone to another school. I am active on the Marion campus and even on the Columbus campus because I want to fully embrace being a Buckeye. I have been through so much and to be able to look back on all that I have accomplished as a student, an employee, and as a Buckeye, has been one of the biggest blessings greatest adventure in my life.
Major: Social work with a minor in psychology
I am a 2016 graduate of Bucyrus High School. I am a freshman at OSU Marion, majoring in Early Childhood Education and plan to attend graduate school at The Ohio State University for my masters degree. As the Vice President of CAB (campus activities board) I have been very involved with OSUM. I love being a Buckeye because I have made so many memories and friends that I'll never forget! I am also a part of college democrats club and work in the admissions and financial aid office. I plan on teaching at Bucyrus Elementary School and I'm considering becoming a principal one day. Go Bucks!
I am a junior at Ohio State Marion. I love to work with prospective families and be a smiling face on campus. I am always looking for new ideas to be helpful. I also work at the Marion Campus Student Center as part of the Student Recreation staff.
I am currently a Freshman here at The Ohio State University at Marion. I am a commuter from the Powell area. I graduated from Olentangy Liberty High School and had strong ties in varsity sports, academic achievement, and community involvement. I have found Ohio State Marion to be a seamless transition from high school to college because of the constant opportunity to get involved with the University as well as the community. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Finance here at Ohio State with a minor in Public Policy. Every day I enjoy having the opportunity to further my education and learn what it means to be a Buckeye!
