Located in our newly designed, modern facility in Morrill Hall, the Learning Commons breaks away from rigid traditional study spaces. We offer a dynamic, open-concept environment engineered entirely with your success in mind. Whether you need a comfortable spot to plug in your laptop between classes, a collaborative area to work on a group project, or one-on-one academic tutoring, the Learning Commons is a welcoming community where curiosity is celebrated, and help is always within reach.
Our Services

📚 Course-Specific Tutoring
Master challenging subject matter with the help of peers who have successfully navigated the exact courses you are taking. Our Peer Tutors facilitate drop-in tutoring sessions to help you break down complex concepts, navigate practice problems, and build independent problem-solving skills.
📋 Peer Coaching
Focus on the holistic academic habits that drive collegiate success. Work one-on-one with a Peer Coach to co-author personalized strategies for time management, exam preparation, goal setting, and organization. Our coaches serve as accountability partners to help you reduce academic anxiety and optimize your routines.
🛠️ Study Skills Workshops
Throughout the semester, we host interactive, dynamic workshops focused on practical skills that make a measurable difference inside the classroom—including high-impact note-taking, strategies to overcome procrastination, and advanced time-management strategies.
👥 Collaborative Learning Spaces
Our vibrant, open facility features flexible seating and group study tables designed specifically for peer discussions and collaboration.
💻 Computer & Printing Access
Need to finish an assignment or print out your study guides before class? The Learning Commons is fully equipped with student computer workstations and free printing. Whether you need to log in to complete online coursework, format a paper, or print physical copies of your learning materials, we have the technology resources on hand to keep your workday moving smoothly.
