Five Nights rounds out season with a visit from University Chorale and Symphonic Choir
The Ohio State University at Marion is pleased to welcome the OSU Chorale and OSU Symphonic Choir to Morrill Hall Auditorium, Thursday, May 10, 7:30 p.m., as part of the Five Nights on Campus cultural and performing arts series.

The Ohio State University Chorale is a select ensemble comprised of graduate students and upper-level undergraduates.  Members are selected by competitive audition and represent the finest talent at the university.  The Chorale sings a variety of distinctive choral literature chosen to challenge both singers and audiences, and its repertoire is representative of the most recent trends in choral composition.  The ensemble tours extensively in the United States and overseas.

Enrolling approximately fifty singers, Ohio State’s Symphonic Choir is open to all members of the campus community by audition.  This ensemble prides itself on diversity of literature, quality musical performance, and nurturing singers through its commitment to improving musical literacy and supporting healthy vocal technique. In addition to a regular performance schedule, the Symphonic Choir often combines with the Chorale and various instrumental ensembles for extended works.

Ticket prices for the OSU Chorale and OSU Symphonic Choir concert are $10 for general admission, $9 for seniors, and $4 for students.  There is no charge for children 5 years of age or younger.  Marion campus faculty and staff, which includes all Ohio State Marion and Marion Technical College personnel, are eligible for $8 discounted individual performance tickets.  Tickets are available in advance or at the door.  For advance tickets or for more information contact Bronwen Babich, Ohio State Marion Office of Community Relations at 740-725-6341, or email:  babich.5@osu.edu.
