“Team Marion” Rides for Cancer Research

News Release Date:

The Ohio State University at Marion will be heavily represented in the university’s annual fundraising initiative Pelotonia.  Pelotonia challenges cyclists to ride and raise funds for cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center—Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove.  In its first four rides, Pelotonia has attracted over 11,100 riders and raised over $42 million for cancer research.

The Ohio State University at Marion - "Team Marion" Peloton has expanded to six riders in 2013:  Dave Claborn, Katy Gullo, Derek Janson, Emily Meyer, Ellen Sheaffer, and Team Captain Jeff Turner.

Team Marion is registered with the Pelotonia.org website.  Anyone who would like to donate to the team’s ride can donate directly to the team. Any team funds will be shared by all members of the team. This way we can work together as a campus to help all of our fundraising goals instead of picking one of us to support.
