Homecoming Crowning 2017

Ohio State Marion junior English major, Morgan DeWitt of Marysville, Ohio, and junior English major Paul Winters of were crowned Marion Campus Homecoming queen and king during ceremonies at the Longaberger Alumni House, Columbus, Ohio on Friday, October 6th. Joining DeWitt and Winters on the court for Homecoming festivities on Columbus campus during the Oct. 6-7 weekend were junior business insurance major Jasmine Gaffney of Marion, Ohio; junior psychology major Kristina Mason of Delaware, Ohio; junior education, child and youth studies major Nicholas Pomeroy of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; and sophomore mechanical and welding engineering major Julio Romero of Marion, Ohio. Following the crowning ceremony, students participated with their Columbus and regional campus counterparts in the Ohio State Homecoming Parade, which is one of Ohio State's biggest and longest running traditions. Student organization floats, colleges, departments, community organizations, and local celebrities are all a part of this tradition.
