Center Provides WIET-Approved Courses

August 17, 2018 – Marion, OH – Alber Enterprise Center at The Ohio State University now offers several courses leading to national career certification that have been approved for Ohio’s WIET (Workforce Inventory of Education and Training).

The Ohio State University is one of several educational institutions approved by the local Workforce Investment Board and Ohio Department of Job & Family Services to provide courses that are funded through WIOA to assist qualifying individuals in gaining meaningful employment. Currently approved programs through the Alber Enterprise Center include a variety of in-demand health care and computer technology courses, and the list is continually expanding. The Center’s programs prepare the student for national certification exams and are offered online at
