Campus & community to celebrate Earth Day

Marion Co. Recycling & Litter Prevention invites the public to a free daylong celebration of Earth Day, Friday, April 21st, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Marion campus.
The event will kick off with a public address by campus and community leaders and will feature free paper shredding (up to 100 pounds) and free electronics recycling. Please note, television recycling cost of $1 per inch. Older adults wishing to recycle televisions and other electronics may call 740-223-4120 to have items picked-up at no cost.) The event will also feature a lunch and learn lecture, litter clean-up, prairie tours, and a tree planting ceremony.
