Ancient art can be found in caves in Lascaux, France, but there are also examples closer to home. Dr. Kenneth Tankersley, who has studied Native American cave art, as well as the art from the Lascaux caves, will lead the discussion at this science café. Included will be a comparison of the art in France with that of the Cherokee tribe.

Dr. Tankersley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Cincinnati. He oversaw excavation at Sheriden Cave in Wyandot County.
