Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a bacterium that is resistant to many antibiotics. Cases of MRSA have recently been reported in the Marion area.
Dr. Kurt Stevenson, from the Division of Infectious Diseases at the OSU Medical Center, will present information about MRSA and will be available to answer your questions. For example:
- How widespread is MRSA?
- How concerned should we be?
- What should we be doing about it?
Bring your questions and discuss your concerns with an expert on infectious diseases.
