Ohio State Marion Senior Lecturer of English, Peter Dully believes in the power of experiences. More specifically, building a campus of global citizens, students who have the opportunity to see and experience the world beyond central Ohio. On November 22, 2019, Dully donated $100,000 to fund these opportunities for current and future students.

For Delaware Hayes grad and current Ohio State Marion freshman Caleb Richardson his dream was to become a member of The Ohio State University Marching Band. Through hard work and determination, he realized that dream on August 31st of this year, marching during half-time in Ohio State’s opening game against Florida Atlantic University.

Ohio State Marion Director of Community Relations and Development, Dave Claborn retired from Ohio State last week after ten years of esteemed service to the campus, but his impact has always gone beyond his 8 to 5 p.m. job. On August 3, Claborn rode the 100 mile trek across the plains and hills of Ohio to raise awareness and money for cancer research.
