Brock Cunningham had always known he wanted to be a teacher. He loved learning, and he loved sharing his knowledge with others. When he attended The Ohio State University at Marion in the school year of 1997-1998, he knew he was on the right track.

Carlee Beaty attended The Ohio State University at Marion from fall 2006 to spring 2010, where she completed her undergraduate degree in English. She spent all four years at Ohio State Marion, taking advantage of the excellent English program offered by the campus. Today, she is an English teacher at Metro Early College High School, an accelerated STEM school on Ohio State's Columbus campus.

Lauren Chivington, a former Ohio State University Marion English major, is a prime example of how an English degree can lead to success. Chivington attended Ohio State Marion from the autumn 2015-spring 2018 academic years, after transferring from Columbus State. Although they did not attend all four years at Marion, Chivington shared that the time at Ohio State Marion left a lasting impact on their career.

Natalie Abbott Walston, a former Ohio State Marion student, has had a successful career in writing and education. She attended Ohio State Marion from 1992 to 1994 and credits the English department for giving her a solid foundation in writing that has served her well in her various careers.
